The ‘artisanal silk lace’ has a positive carbon footprint since we carry out all the transformation tasks in- situ and we do not use fossil energy during the process. Our know-how gives us the possibility of preserving the chrysalis and allowing it to complete its life cycle, an unprecedented feat in the sector. Thus our innovation will surely represent a solution to the growing demand for ecological products with low environmental impact.

A silk story

Disruptive Silk Supplier

It all started in 2017, with an organic sericulture unit located in Beni Metir in northwestern Tunisia. The 1st and only base in North Africa. A 100% Tunisian know-how, two co-founders, agricultural engineers, trained in France supported by a large local team having acquired complete expertise in all aspects of the value chain: from the mulberry tree to the production of silkworm cocoons (raw material) upto the manufacture of decorative products through innovative processing : Alba Silk thus offers you a noble material that adapts to all your creations – made to measure!
